The Bada Bean

This great local restaurant is one of our favorite places for breakfast or brunch. Good food, great selection and reasonable prices. It tends to be busy on weekends so we always take first available seating and enjoy sitting outside. I've been here countless times and never had anything but a fantastic dining experience. The food is so good. You may have to wait in line for a while if you go on the weekend though so try your best to go on a weekday.

Yummy yumm to that cinnamon roll 😄 I do suggest it before you dive into your breakfast 🥞 dish 😋. We had one dish of pancake, sausage, eggs, and bacon, the other dish of steaks with onion n bell pepper n potato n eggs and mozzarella and fresh avocado. Portions are BIG. The atmosphere is nice!

We have eaten here for breakfast and lunch now and I can honestly say, it is a very good restaurant. Both in the quality of food and the service. One of our new go to places in Tally!

We always have the best brunch here! Its a great "hole in the wall" spot to WOW visiting friends and family with. Worth the wait! I personally would recommend the eggs Benedict and cinnamon roll pancakes! They also have a wonderful self serve coffee bar that has an AMAZING creme brulé brew. Check it out!

I don't have words to describe the down-home deliciousness that is the Bada Bean. Hands down, without doubt or question the BEST breakfast restaurant in Tallahassee. Homemade cinnamon rolls, muffins, cakes, french toast, pancakes, biscuits, gravy, homefries, skillets...you name it, they have it and it's amazing.

Super delicious and tons of variety. They expertly handled a large online order for me with less than a day's notice and helped me carry it to my car when I picked it up. Everything was perfect!

This has to be the best breakfast place in Tallahassee! Been driving by this place for years and finally gave it a try... should have done that a long time ago.Corned beef has was perfect. All ingredients are fresh and great quality. Staff is friendly and efficient. Better get here early though it fills up fast.

Slow. If you like slow, this is it, and some people do. I don’t. The food was good the service was friendly, but slow.

This was genuinely the best breakfast I have had in my entire life. I was totally blown away how delicious everything from the egg whites, avocados, potatoes, steak skillet and even the fresh fruit was the best ever! The only things we had that wasn't as impressive as I anticipated was the 911(the cinnamon roll breakfast sandwich) and the watered down sweet tea. We ate here multiple times on our trip because it was so delicious! I can see why it's rated the best in Tallahassee!

Bada Bean is my new coffee place!! 8 years I've been driving by. I love coffee and I tire of the production at Starbucks. Everything was good from the time I walked in the door... Pleasant people, quick , attentive service and really good tasting coffee and a chocolate muffin that had to be made in house.Awesome.

Great brunch place that serves a lot of variety. The atmosphere is very home-like and the servers were also very friendly! Pancakes weren't as fluffy as I wanted to be but their other food was very delicious!

My wife and I loved this place. Great food and great service. I had a bowl of oyster stew and it was delicious. The owner came out of the back and asked how I liked it and I told her it was great! She went back and brought me more! They treat people like family. The place is clean and service is great. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great mom and pop type breakfast spot! There was definitely a crowd but I was able to get in and out with ease. Great service, good food! The cinnamon roll pancakes are amazing!!! Definitely give Bada Bean a try, you won't be disappointed!

I was visiting tally and ordered food to go so I never went inside. The Californian omelet was pretty bad. Very plain eggs and the vegetables were jus thrown in the middle. No flavor. My friend had the philly steak omelet, which was also bad. Safe to say their not good at omelets. I was disappointed. The last of our group had skillet pot roast and it was good. 1 out of 3 good and the staff at the front desk was nice, hence the 2 stars.

I really enjoyed The Bada Bean. It's a nice local place, tucked in a small plaza. The atmosphere is inviting, especially for breakfast when the sun is still low over the restaurant.The staff in general was very nice. Our waitress was cool, and she made sure our drinks were kept full when they got low.The menu is decent sized, but pretty much everything on it is quality. I decided to get the Farmers breakfast skillet and a 2 stack of cinnamon roll pancakes. Both were excellent. The skillet came out hot, and the ingredients tasted fresh, and the home fries were nice and crispy. The biscuit was very fluffy and soft. The pancakes tasted like cinnamon rolls, which is what it was supposed to taste like, which is great. The prices weren't too bad either.I would've given it a five star rating except I found a hair in my pancakes, otherwise I was happy with everything!Definitely give them a try, I doubt the hair is a regular occurrence!

This is my favorite place in town to eat.Your bread choice is biscuit or half an avocado.The coffees on the bar are LUSCIOUS, and you can have whichever kinds you like!The staff is friendly, and they understand gluten free (!!!!!!!!!!).I've taken my out of town friends and family here, and they've all loved it!I especially like their skillets.

Since moving from California I had not found like a mom and pop coffee shop type of place for breakfast. Tallahassee Foodies hit the nail on the head with this suggestion for breakfast. I always enjoyed biscuits and gravy but can rarely find a place that makes it the way I would, creamy, and risk with chunks of sausage, not too thick, not doughy or uncooked flour tasting. Bada Bean hit it outta the park for me along with the over eggs the way they should be and fluffy fresh biscuits. I think I can become a 'regular' to a place like this. Need time to explore all the other offerings.

One of my favorite spots for breakfast at lunch. Service is great, you seat yourself and they promptly hand you a menu. They have fill/refill yourself coffee options on a bar so you're never without. Although, you can custom order cold brews, etc. They serve all the classic comfort breakfast foods and lunch favorites. Easy to get in and out at lunch, although parking can be challenging occasionally as the lot is tiny. It's worth it, though.

Love love loved it! This was my first time coming to Bada Bean with my family and we will definitely be going back. I had the farmer skillet with avocado and mushroom added. It was pure perfection 😍. My husband had the eggs Benedict which was amazing too. My kid had the cinnamon roll pancake. Everybody tasted everybody's food and we all agreed that each other's for was tasty. If you want a good breakfast or brunch in Tallahassee I highly recommend it. Mine was so good I would go back just to get the same thing. Food was perfectly seasoned and nothing extra was needed to make it delicious although next time I might try the Siracha 🤔. The service was great. Really friendly wait staff- not just the super cute young lady that served us.

Excellent food and service.

Ingredients were fresh and of good quality for my Cranberry walnut salad with chicken breast. Definitely tasty but the portion was rather small. Service was good also and I would come back but would definitely stick with the breakfast items for next time.

Had the Tin Lizzy 4 egg omelet. It was sooo goood. Also good coffee and service.

Cute little brunch spot that is buzzing with business my husband and I stopped in for brunch on a Sunday and were quickly seated. The resturant was packed but service was quick and the food was food. Their coffee bar is a nice touch and we were pleased with our visit!

Yes, the cinnamon roll pancakes are the best, they were so good we ate half of them before I stopped to take a picture. This is a great place for breakfast, fast service and well prepared eggs, toast, pancakes...Just get here already.

Some of the best breakfast food you can get in town. Great options for just about anyone and at a very reasonable rate. Owners are awesome people and have done a good job with the staff as well.

Wow, just WOW! The nice valet dude at the hotel recommend this for breakfast. We're so glad that we took his recommendation. Sat outside on a beautiful day. We at the Hot Brown and the Veggie Skillet (with a pancake side!). Amazing! We enjoyed it so much we thought we'd come back for lunch but alas we ran out of time. Next time though! The service was excellent. Def recommending stopping by here for breakfast or lunch.

This is THE place to bring visiting family and friends. I visit or order on my own at least once a month. We love to stop by after Mass on a Sunday morning.I told my daughtera her husband and my ex who visits two times a year, how wonderful Bada Bean is. Now they agree and it's a regular to dine there when they come down. I love the pancakes.
